Well, it's so great because you're living my dream right now. I'm sure there are others here that feel that way too!

Pat is so right - it gives you an unbelievably full, kind of Proustian experience with a wine when you taste it and you can remember exactly what the vineyard looks like and what the weather is like and even have a sense of the people who tended the vines or made the grapes. And Rob is right too. It's more than the dream of just making wine - heck, I live in Sonoma County and I know lots of winemakers and growers, so if I really really wanted to make some wine I guess I could. It's also going off to a wonderul faraway place and living amongst interesting people while living your dream. I think that really resounds with lots of people. Well we fulfill our dreams where we can. One of mine was realized yesterday, when I took the kids down the street for the first day of school, and was able to come home and start my first day of uninterupted work in nearly three months.
