This is a picture of our Syrah taken last week on July 28th, no sign of color change yet!
This was taken on July 18th last year.
I guess that means that harvest will be a bit later this year!!

Interesting... I would have expected the opposite. I was just just talking to my sister about how we thought this summer seemed hotter than last year and mentioning yet another great wine we had the other day at a friend's, friend's domaine close to Sommiéres, similar to a great wine we had shared back in May at a restaurant, to say that she should drop the name at Kermit Lynch next time she was down that way... and then I stopped by David Lebovitz and saw the latest salad from Joanne Weir and... sometimes I just start clicking on links and voila... well, it is just such a small world.
