A short harvest video

Pressing white 2008
Vidéo envoyée par lagramiere

Here's a video I shot of us pressing the white grapes. It took me awhile, since I was having trouble getting my computer to download it! It was taken with my handy dandy little Flip Video Recorder, it works great! I just need to be patient when trying to figure these techie things out. You'll see Even Bakke, Matt and Even's friend Woody in action, and at then end, even my dad. And for your listening pleasure you have Daisy barking in the background... I have one more video to post, let me know if you find them interesting or not!

I always enjoy the video clips. What a big voice that pup has! :-) I'm also looking forward to hearing what your plans are this year for the white grapes. Looks like you're doing a crush/destem with minimal skin contact time for starters. Do you settle the juice out and then barrel-ferment? I don't know anything about traditional Rhone processes for white varietals so I'd be interested in learning more. Enjoy! You must be in the home stretch by now...
