And then they celebrated...
The call went out around noon yesterday, and everyone wanted to join the celebration. Champagne was drunk and we all raised our glasses in jubilation!

I was with you in spirit, that's for sure! It's one of a very few days that I expect to remember for the rest of my life. Wednesday's major newspapers are on eBay for $50 to $100 each. Go figure! :-) Looks like it's finally time to buckle down and start digging out...
